MS Dance & Cheer

Tryouts for MS Dance and Cheer the 2018-19 school year will be held on April 23, 24, & 25 from 3:45-5:00 p.m. each day at Lincoln Lutheran.  The first two days consist of learning and rehearsing a routine and the third day is the formal, judged tryout for placement on one of the two teams. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Stueber at lisa.stueber2@gmail.com or 402-217-2758.

Sports Physicals Night May 2nd

The 2018 Sports Physical Night will be held on Wednesday, May 2 from 5-7 pm. All parents should have a received an email on Thursday that gave specific instructions about the evening, including the forms students will need to bring to the office that evening.  Cost for the physicals will be $25. We are still looking for a few more healthcare professionals to help out with the evening. Open Mat Clinic

Interested in learning how to wrestle, just want to "give it a try" or are looking for some extra time on the mats? Lincoln Lutheran will be hosting Open Mat Clinics on Monday evenings on the following dates 4/23, 4/30 & 5/7.

ULC Service Day March 4

The University Lutheran Chapel is hosting its annual Community Service Sunday on March 4th. It is a great way for high schoolers and middle schoolers to be exposed to a college atmosphere, and to serve those in the community around them. There will be a short sermon at 9:30 and service work begins shortly after. Around 11:30, we will head back to the chapel for a free meal. Please click here to sign up!

Travel Opportunity for Middle School Students

Boys Soccer wins!

The boys soccer team beat Nebraska City 4-2 on Tuesday 4/17.

Track Results 4/17

Colton Meyer, a junior, swept the boys hurdle races — winning the 110-meter highs in 14.45 seconds with an east wind to his back before later taking the 300 intermediates in :40.38. The Warrior boys got 3rd overall. Three individual gold medals from Josie Puelz paced Lutheran to the girls title, outscoring second place Fairbury 113-109. Puelz won the pole vault (11-6), the 100 hurdles (:16.38) and 300 hurdles (:50.32). She also ran a leg on the Warriors’ victorious 400 relay team.

Aaron McClellan's Eagle Scout Honor Court

Everyone is invited to celebrate with Aaron McClellan and his family at his Eagle Scout Honor Court, Troop 69 which will be held on Sunday, April 29th at 3 pm at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2001 11th St, Lincoln. A reception will follow the ceremony.

College Rep Visit

On Monday, April 23rd, there will be a college rep from the University of Kansas here at Lincoln Lutheran. The rep will be available to meet with students during AP. If you are interested in speaking to the rep, please stop by the Front Desk on Monday morning to get a pass. 

Pitch Hit & Run Contests

Lincoln's Optimist Clubs will host five local Pitch Hit & Run contests April 23-27 for boys and girls ages 7-14.  Winners have the opportunity to advance to sectional competition, Kansas City Royal team competition, and the Major League Baseball Championships.  There will be a separate Baseball & Softball divisions which will provide greater opportunities for advancement. Please see the attached poster for all the details.

Soccer Results 4/10: Girls won 4-1 against Schuyler.  Goals by Layney Poppe and Kassidy Johnson. Boys lost 1-4 against Schuyler.

HS Track Results

The HS girls Track team took Runner-up honors at the Yutan Invitational on Tuesday scoring 128 points, and the boys team took 3rd place overall out of 10 teams, scoring 72 points. Leading the Warriors were Josie Puelz, winning the pole vault with a 11'6" vault, and setting a new meet record. Josie also took 1st place in the 100m hurdles in 16.35 and the 300m hurdles in 47.59. Marriah Buss won the triple jump and tied a meet record with a jump of 34'8". Rebecca Ziems won the 800m in a time of 2:29.3.

Noah Stueber named to Boys State

Congratulations also goes out to Noah Stueber who will now be attending Cornhusker Boys State this summer, he was formerly named as an alternate.

Zac Streich headed to Cornhusker Boys State

We just received word that Zac Streich, who was originally named as a alternate, has been invited to attend Cornhusker Boys State this summer. Congratulations!

HS Boys Golf Results

The Warrior boy’s golf season opened up yesterday at the Syracuse Invitational.  It was great getting out on the course with a brand new group of golfers representing Lincoln Lutheran.  The team did very well considering this was their first Varsity experience on a course none of them had ever seen.  All had great shots and scored par or better on at least one hole.  It was a great start on what should be a season of strong improvement from beginning to end.  However, next week we will play our most difficult course of the season Firethorn Country Club, but th
