Here are the links (CLICK VIEW) for ordering a track T-shirt, sweatshirt, etc. The high school shirts are a light gray and the middle school (6th, 7th & 8th) shirts are in white. All track parents should or will be getting an email from the coaches but here are the links to purchase them. The online store will be open until Tuesday, April 4th with the shirts being delivered to LL on April 10th. Please contact the track coaches or the front desk is you have any problems or questions.
We have just received word that the Norris Track & Field Invitational has been moved from Thursday, March 30th to Friday, March 31 and keeping the same start time of 10:00 a.m. Norris will re-evaluate the track facilities tomorrow around noon.

With the spring sports season comes the strong possibility that some of the games/meets will have to have to be rescheduled due to weather. We want to encourage all parents of athletes, or anyone who is interested in attending sporting events this spring, to make certain that they sign up to receive alerts in rSchool. If you have questions on how to sign up, feel free to call the school office. The rSchool activities schedule can be accessed on the LL website.
We are looking at the possibility of having a HS Softball team co-opped with Crete. There are still plans that need to be made and right now what we need is to get an idea of how many girls would be interested in being on the team next fall. The MS 8th grade boys basketball team participated in the National Lutheran Basketball Tournament held in Valparaiso, Indiana, March 24-26. The boys tournament consisted of 32 qualifying teams representing 15 states from as far away as Florida, Nevada, California, and Texas. The boys played 6 games in 3 days and returned home with a 4-2 record and the Consolation Runner-Up trophy (10th place overall), but more importantly experienced some great fellowship and many lasting memories to be cherished for a lifetime.
Lady Warriors Make Historic Run: For only the second time in school history, the Lady Warriors Middle School Basketball Team participated in the Lutheran School National Tournament in Valparaiso, Indiana on March 23-26. The Warriors relied on strong defense to finished the tournament with a 3-2 record and capturing 6th place out of a field of 32 teams from across the United States. In the opening game, the Warriors were able to survive 28-27 in a double-overtime thriller against the Ohio State Champion from Napoleon, OH.
The Warrior’s golf team won its inaugural meet of the 2017 season shooting a team 313, second best team score in history and only 3 strokes behind the record 310 set in 2009. Individually, all Warriors shot under 85 and finished inside the top 15 with an amazing 78.25 scoring average. All the hard work this group has put in during the summers and fall is going to pay off this year. This was an excellent start of what should be a very successful year.
The HS boys and girls both won against Seward on Tuesday, March 28th. Boys won 3-1 with Henry Schmidt scoring 2 goals. Girls won 3-0 with Gabby Mason, Rachel Garbe and Hannah Ernst getting the goals. Kassidy Johnson earned the shutout in the net.
Congratulations to Makenzie Koepke, Paige Ravenscroft and Henry Schmidt who were listed both in the LJS as well as the Omaha World Hearld as Honorable mention on the 2017 Class C-1 All State listing.
Congratulations to the MS Girls Basketball team who finished out their great season going 3 & 2 this weekend at the National Lutheran Basketball Tournament in Valparaso, IN. The girls had several great games and ended up finishing 6th place out of the 32 teams that were there from across the nation.
The Boys team also had a great showing going 4 &2 and finishing up as the Consolation Runner-up (10th place). Josh Puelz was also named to an 8 member All Tournament Team. Well done!!

The annual Men of Faith Tournament is taking place Saturday, April 8. This tournament is a great opportunity for student volunteers to log some community service hours, watch some good basketball, and be a part of an event that is a 20+ year tradition! If interested in helping with the tournament, let Mr. Ziems know. Helpers work the "table" as supervisors, scorekeepers, timekeepers, and bookkeepers. Shifts are available ALL day -- possibly as early as 6:30 a.m. to as late as 11:00 p.m.

The Concordia Bulldog Challenge turned out to be a great day of competition! The girls team ended up 2nd out of the 14 teams and the boys placed 9th.A special congratulations to Mackenzie Koepke and Josie Puelz for setting new meet records! Mack in the high jump with a jump of 5'4" and Josie in the pole vault with a vault of 11'0". The girls 1600 m relay and 3200 m relay took first place, as did Josie also in the 60 m hurdles. Relay members names will be on the posted sheets by the main gym. Next meet is this Friday at Louisville.
The Trinity Lutheran School Board is seeking candidates/applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant.
