COT: Service Hours - Hungry Turkey Run

If you are looking for some fun service hours, sign up for the Hungry Turkey 5k at the Outreach board (near the library) or click here to sign up online. The event is on Sunday, November 26, from 6:30 am- 11:00 am at Haymarket Park (403 Line Drive Circle). Some of the service may be filling up water cups, helping participants sign in, handing out food, or directing the participants on the correct path. The run is held to help prisoners who have just gotten out of jail and are starting over.

2017 Fall All Conference

Congratulations to Marriah Buss, Hope Leimbach and Erin Williams who were named to the Volleyball All Conference West and to Rebecca Ziems and Kayla Ernstmeyer who were named Honorable Mention. 

Congratulations also goes out to Logan Kriezel, Cole Schaedel, Jake Wendland, James Lavicky, Cayden Bergt, & Colby Bliss who were named Football All Conference West. Ethan Rickords, Noah Stueber, Sam Rathe, Dalton Paxton, & Joe Admiraal all earned Honorable Mentions.

Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break: Office will be closed Wednesday-Friday, November 22nd-24th.  No Scrip will be processed.

HS VB Records Broken

Congratulations to several high school volleyball players that broke some individual Lincoln Lutheran records and even Class C-1 records this past season!

  • Marriah Buss broke the LL school record and the State Class C-1 record for kills in one season with 684. 
  • Hope Leimbach  broke the LL school record for set assists on a season with 1,023.
  • Erin Williams set a school record for digs on the season with a total of 489.

Way to go Warriors!!

Future Freshman Night Date Change

The Future Freshman Night has had a date change. It will now be January 11th, 2018 at 6pm.

Candle Sales

The Junior class is selling candles as a fund raiser for prom. Sales run through Thanksgiving.

LL Clothing Drive - Jan. 13

Our next clothing giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon in the commons at LL.  Please consider donating to our event and blessing our community with your gifts of unwanted clothing, coats, shoes, formal wear, and children's books.  We will be especially excited about gifts of winter wear, but ALL donations are very welcome.  Please drop off items at the LL front office any time from now until the event. Consider coming in yourselves, as we always have the LL lost and found items available one last time!!!

HS VB finish 3rd at State

Congrats to the LL VB team on a great season! The warriors finished strong as they claimed 3rd place at the State Championship on Saturday 11/11 vs. North Bend. The VB team opened State tournament play on Thursday night, when they faced off against Ord. With the win that night they went on to play a very tough and close 4 set game against #2 GICC on Friday at 3 pm in PBA. The warriors fell short vs. GICC and played at 9 am for 3rd place against North Bend. Thanks to all the fans who came out to support the Warriors for each one of the games!

Football Results

LL play Centennial on Friday, Nov. 10th in the C-2 Semi-finals. They played tough but lost 33-20. This team should be very proud of themselves as the senior class went from a losing record their freshman year to making it farther in the playoffs than any other team in school history. 

Congrats on HS VB Berth to State!

Congratulations to the Volleyball team on their victory on Saturday over Broken Bow in the District Championship at GICC. The Warriors won in three straight sets, 25-9, 25-19, and 25-21. This advances the team to the NE State Volleyball Tournament starting Thursday, with the 1st round at Lincoln Northstar HS at 7:30 pm. The tournament continues the following day at the Pinnacle Bank Arena for the winners of Thursdays matches.

HS Volleyball Win Sub-Districts

On Thursday, the LL Warriors took down Beatrice in 2 sets, and then also beat the other Class B team Norris 2-1 to close out regular season play.

On Monday night, the Warriors defeated Milford in round 1 of Sub-Districts 25-7, 25-10, and 25-15 with all Warriors getting in on the action! 

On Tuesday Night, the Warriors defeated Lincoln Christian in 3 sets to earn a spot at Districts. Come out and support the Warriors as they are working on their quest to State!!

Centennial Conference VB All Tournament Team

Congratulations to Marriah Buss for being named to the 2017 Centennial Conference All Tournament Team. Congratulations also to Hope Leimbach for earning Honorable Mention. 

Blue Sheet Clarification

If your student will be gone for 2-3 full blocks or a full day due to a "planned" event (vacation, college visit, etc), please email the front desk so that we can give the student a Blue Sheet. The request needs to be a couple days prior to the "planned" event. This allows them to take it to the teachers to get their assignments and the teachers to plan. 

HS Volleyball Results

Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team as they took down the # 1 seed Wahoo in 2 sets 25-19, 26-18 winning the Lincoln Christian Invitational tournament on Saturday. They also defeated Auburn and Bergan in 2 sets. The Reserves team won the Seward Freshman / Reserves tournament by defeating York in the Championship. They also beat Seward and Columbus in the other matches. Great weekend of volleyball Warriors!!

HS CC Results

Warrior cross country is going to state!!  Tanner Lebo, Jacob Meyer, Ryan Hlavity, and Jack Rolland all posted personal bests as the Lincoln Lutheran boys' team qualified for state with a 3rd place finish at the district cross country meet at Branched Oak lake on Thursday.  Noah L'Heureux and Colton Meyer also had strong finishes.  Tanner Lebo earned a 13th place medal.

VB Results from Oct. 17th

Lincoln Lutheran played in a triangular at Columbus Scotus Tuesday evening with all 3 teams competing. The Reserves team only played Columbus Scotus and put up a good effort, but lost in 3 sets. The JV team lost 2-0 to Columbus Scotus but came back in a 3 set win over Hastings St. Cecilia.  Lincoln Lutheran played Scotus even points wise, but dropped the match 2-1  at the Columbus gym. Lutheran lost their lead in the 1st set and then dropped the set 25-23, won set 2 by a score of 25-20, but then lost the 3rd set 25-22.
