Rescheduled Senior Wrestling Night

We have rescheduled the Senior Wrestling Recognition Night. We will be honoring our Senior wrestling boys during the halftime (see announcement about earlier start time of Varsity game) of the Varsity Boys Basketball game vs. Boys Town on Friday, February 16th.

Free Nebraska Brass Concert - 2/17

Nebraska Brass is offering FREE admission to students and their families for a performance on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 at St. Paul United Methodist Church - 7:30 pm. Students can reserve their free ticket by emailing Nebraska Brass at nb@artsincorporated.org  by Wednesday, Feb. 14. Simply indicate the number of tickets you are reserving in your email. This should be a great concert and will included 2013 LL Alumni, Hannah Miller. 

Girls Locker Room Today

Today we have home boys BB games.  The JV game starts at 5:30 so the other team will be arriving around 4:30.  This means that the Girls Locker Room will be will be off limits at 4:30.  Please make certain your things out before then.  With other teams coming in it is always good to remember to make sure lockers are locked. 

Spring Driver's Ed Class

If you would like to participate in the Spring Driver's Ed class that is planned to begin on April 3, here at LL, please stop by the front desk to add your name to the prospective student list and to pick up a flier which has a link to the online registration. Classes will be held from 6:45 am to 7:45 M-F. John Bailey from All-Metro Driving School will once again be teaching the class. We need a minimum of 12 students to have the class, so please sign up ASAP so we can get numbers to John.

BBB Game Times for Friday

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that because we are only having a JV & V BBB game Friday, we would like to run the start times for the games as succinctly as possible. JV Boys will start at 5:30 pm. We will then have the Varsity game start as soon after the end of the JV Game as we can. We are hoping to begin by 7 pm. Please pass this note on to family and friends!

HS Drama Information

LL Blood Drive

The Student Council will be again hosting their annual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 7, from 9 am-4 pm. Please consider donating that day. All donations have the potential to save three lives. Our total units collected also help to provide scholarship money for LL seniors.  To donate, go to https://www.redcrossblood.org/ and find the Lincoln Lutheran drive by entering our zip code - 68504.

ISO: Audio Amplifiers

Lincoln Lutheran is looking for a few old audio amplifiers. We've received a donation of ceiling speakers which we are putting in some classrooms, but we need amplifiers to run the speakers. Practically any amplifier would work fine. They need to have at least one pair of RCA line in jacks and one or more speaker out jacks. Dance & Cheer Head to State

Prayers and Best Wishes go out to the LL Dance and Cheer teams as they head to Grand Island to compete at the State competition. Both teams are scheduled to perform in the afternoon on Friday, 2/16. 

HS/MS Spring Sport meetings

There will a HS Spring Sports meeting (Soccer, Track, Boys Golf) on Monday, 2/26 at 6pm. The MS (6th-8th) Track meeting will be Tuesday, 2/27 at 5:30pm.  

Baseball Driver's Needed

LL is looking for 2 drivers to take the baseball players to practice.  It is Monday-Friday leaving by 3:30 and getting back by 6:30/7:00. Please contact (via phone or email) Mr. Joel Brase at jbrase@lincolnlutheran.org to get more information or to say which days you can help with.  

Post-Season Play for BBB

Please come out and cheer our Boys Basketball Team on as they face Milford in the first round of Subdistrict C1-8 play. Their first game will be on Tuesday, 2/20 at 7:45 pm at North Star High School. Please see the attached bracket for all the game times.

Pass/No Record - Due March 13

Any Junior or Senior who would like to take a Second Semester class on a Pass/No Record basis should pick up a form from the guidance center.  Signed forms must be returned no later than March 13th.

District Wrestling Results

Friday and Saturday (2/9-10) Malcolm played host to the 2108 C-1 District Wrestling tournament. The LL Warriors had a strong showing. Congratulations to three of our Warrior Wrestlers who finished their season with winning records, a first in LL Wrestling history! Junior Tommy Nabity finished with a record of 17-15 and finished Districts will a record of 2-2. Senior Joe Admiraal finished the year with a 21-20 record and finished Districts with a record of 2-2.

Final 2018-2019 School Calendar

We have the 2018/19 school calendar available. First day of HS Fall sports is Monday, August 6th. First day of school is August 13th. The official calendar is attached. (Click "view")

Come to Great Britain!

There will be an informational meeting for those students, parents, and alumni interested in traveling to Ireland, Scotland and England in June of 2020. Current Lincoln Lutheran students in grades 7 through 12, current college-aged Lincoln Lutheran alumni, and parents are encouraged to attend during ONE of the following times:

Sunday, March 4 @ 2pm

Tuesday, March 6 @ 7pm

Thursday, March 8 @ 7pm

All meetings will take place in the Lincoln Lutheran Media Center.
