Warriors Family Call to Action Advances

A few months ago, we told you about LB 670. This bill titled the “Opportunity Scholarships Act” would create a 100% state income tax credit for donations to scholarship granting organizations. The state would provide $10 million in total income tax credits, with the amount of the tax credits available increasing every year if 95% of the income tax credit cap is reached. Please see the attached press release as the bill advances from committee.

2019 Winter Clothing Drive

Thanks once again to our amazing Lincoln Lutheran families.  This was our biggest event to date with the most "shoppers" ever as well, the majority of whom came from the People's City Mission connection.  We were thrilled to see happy families taking multiple leaf-bag size bags home with them.  They were extremely grateful for the beautiful items.  Thanks for your generosity!  Our remaining items will be dropped off at the Community Action Program downtown this week.  Beth Donahue thanks us for blessing them with these gifts. Thanks to Mr.
