Lincoln Lutheran will be closed Monday, March 22nd to honor the foundation of the New York Horticultural Society (just kidding, it's our mid-semester break). The school office will also be closed.
Our mission...
Lincoln Lutheran exists to equip young people to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ by providing an excellent, Christ-centered education
...has been equipping young Christian leaders for the past 45 years, and our students, The Warriors, shine as a beacon of light as they serve both the Lutheran Church community and the larger Lincoln community. Our focus on "Reflecting Christ Together today, tomorrow, forever" captures the mission of the students, parents and faculty.
...Lincoln Lutheran continues in this mission as a Christ-centered school. We are lead by an association of eight LCMS Churches and serve to continue the Lutheran education that they nurture in their congregations and elementary schools. Lincoln Lutheran is accredited by the Nebraska Department of Education and has been awarded National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. Every year finds Lincoln Lutheran students scoring above the national, state, and local averages on standardized tests. Over 90% of graduating seniors have pursued higher education and each year the outgoing students are offered scholarships exceeding one million dollars in value.
....in the school's focus on spiritual growth. Twice weekly chapels allow students, faculty and guests to take pause from a challenging daily routine to bring joys and sorrows to the Cross of Christ in prayerful devotions. This close, family-like structure is also reflected Lincoln Lutheran's low faculty-to-student rate of 14 to 1.
...a wide variety of activities to meet the interest of our students. Our commitment is to help students grow in both leadership and teamwork. Our faculty, parents, size and community involvement all offer distinct advantages to our students as they grow academically, spiritually and emotionally..
