This is a great chance to get answers to any questions you may have.

New Sports NOT To Be Added For The 2009-10 School Year

Submitted by Susie Francis on Fri, 05/29/2009 - 11:41am
After a detailed study regarding the possibility of adding several sports (baseball, softball, tennis, swimming) to our activities program, it became apparent that it would NOT be in the best interest of Lincoln Lutheran to add any new activities for the 2009-2010 school year. The administration, on a regular basis, will continue to review our activity options in conjunction with those we already offer. The main criterion for decision-making includes facilities, coops with other schools, costs and student enrollment. Should you have any questions, please contact Matt Heibel or Don Duitsman at 467-5404.

Warriors Claim District Championship Once Again

Submitted by Derek Neihardt on Fri, 05/08/2009 - 9:31am

On Thursday, May 7 the Lincoln Lutheran Warrior soccer team took on the Pius Thunderbolts in the district championship. The Warriors were 10-5 coming into the game, and Pius was 11-2. The teams had faced off earlier in the season, with Pius winning 1-0. However, that was not the case in this game.
The game started out pretty even, but the Warriors possessed the ball very well and took the upper hand early. About 15 minutes into the game, junior Jayson Haessler put in a cross. A Pius defender attempted the head the ball out, but instead headed the ball backwards towards sophomore Taylor Katt. Katt took the opportunity to bury the ball in the back of the net, but the goal wasn't counted due to a questionable offsides call.
