High School Boys Basketball

The Lincoln Lutheran boy’s varsity basketball team concluded a very fulfilling and successful 2011-2012 campaign. The boys put in a lot of time and hard work this past off-season to prepare for their vigorous schedule in the Centennial Conference. The team showed a lot of improvement this year and finished their season with a 13-10 record. This is the most wins in 8 years and it tied the number of wins from 2003-2004. It was also the first time in school history that the boys have won back to back Holiday Tournaments. The season was highlighted with two wins over ranked teams.

Lincoln Lutheran Fans Receive Sportsmanship Award

A big congratulations go out to the LL Student Body as well as the LL Fans who came out to the State Tournament to cheer on the LL Warrior Volleyball team! At the close of the tournament, Lincoln Lutheran won the State Volleyball Sportsmanship Award for showing class and school spirit throughout the tournament! The award is decided upon by a select group of ADs who attend all the State games and watch both the student body as well as the fans and players giving or deducting points based on a variety of criteria including creativity and positive support for their team.

LL Softball Results 9/1

Congratulations to the Crete/LL Softball team on their 2 wins and one loss at the Wahoo Tournament this Saturday, 9/1. The girls started with a 1-3 loss to Wahoo, but made quick changes and finished with a strong 12-3 win over Ashland Greenwood. They finished off the day with a hard fought 5-4 win over a strong Waverly team. Congratulations ladies!
