Music Parent Planning Meeting

All parents of students in band or choir are invited to attend a planning/informational meeting on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:00 in the music room. Mr. Werner and Ms. Bartelt will be discussing the fall concert, fundraising opportunities, and future plans for the music department.

Service Hour Opportunity

This service opportunity is for the event called, “Huskers Helping the Homeless!” This event is put on by Matt Talbot Kitchen, and the event goes from the 26th to 28th of September. Volunteers will be accepting cash donations from locations all around Lincoln to help fundraise for the homeless! The Community Outreach Team is going to have a group that will be fundraising at the Walmart on 84th & Hwy 2, and it’ll be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m on Friday September 27th. There will be a signup sheet on the COLT’s bulletin board! We hope to see you all there!!

Pass/No Record Request

Juniors and Seniors who would like to take a 1st Semester class on a Pass/No Record basis should pick up a form from the Guidance Office.  Completed forms must be returned to the Guidance Office NO LATER than October 14th.

October 2nd Guest Speaker

On Wednesday (10/2) Lincoln Lutheran will welcome Heather Ruesch, who will speak at separate assemblies for Middle and High School students.  Heather is a national speaker and author and will present on the topic of Biblical sexual integrity.  Her mission is to "challenge the skin-deep culture surrounding today's youth," and to send the message that when "teaching constantly comes back to our value in Christ alone, all of the other challenges we face in our daily lives fall into their proper places."  Click "view" for more!

Florida 2020...There is still space available!!!

I am excited to announce that I will lead a group of Lincoln Lutheran students on a WorldStrides program to the Florida Keys, FL. On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, students will explore some of our nation's most diverse marine ecosystems, experience incomparable learning moments, and gain a new appreciation for science. Life Chain 2019

Fall 40 Days for Life campaign begins on Sept. 25 and goes thru Nov 3. This is a concentrated prayer effort to end abortion here in Lincoln. Life Chain 2019 will be on Sunday, October 6th from 2:30-3:30. Life Chain is a silent one hour of Prayer Vigil. Trinity Lutheran Church stands on the NE corner of 48th & O, stretching down to the Hy-Vee. This is a peaceful, prayerful event and signs are provided.

Parent-Teacher Conference Sign up!

Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for September 26 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The sign up for PT Conferences will be done online. You may access it by clicking HERE.  Note: 6TH GRADE PARENTS,  you will ONLY sign up with your student's homeroom (1st Block) teacher - there aren't enough slots for you to meet with both.

Blue Angels Trivia Night - 10/19/19

Test your fun fact knowledge and support Lincoln Lutheran High School’s Blue Angels Dance Team at Trivia Night, Saturday, Oct. 19, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 S. 84th Street. The evening includes a silent auction, cash prizes for the first and second place winners of the trivia game, raffle drawings, door prizes, snacks, and entertainment by the Blue Angels. Doors open and silent auction bidding begins at 5:30 p.m. with the trivia game starting at 6:00 p.m.

Drama Coach

Lincoln Lutheran is looking for a drama director to lead its programs for the coming school year. In our program, there is a middle school play in the fall, high school One Acts in the fall, and a high school musical/play in the spring.
