Tue, 11/13/2018 - 8:15am — Lincoln LutheranCongratulations and a big shout out to the varsity volleyball team as they made it to the championship match of the 2018 Nebraska State volleyball tournament. The team made it an exciting match, as they came out strong and took down #1 seed Wahoo 25-18 in set 1. But then the opponents came back and took sets 2 and 3, 25-20, 25-14. Our Lincoln Lutheran Warriors did not quit, as they pushed their way back and took down Wahoo in set 4, 25-21. In the fifth set, LL was down 3-0, yet pushed back and had the score at 7-6. After the Wahoo time out, they extended their lead 10-6. Our team put up a battle but lost in the 5th set 15-10. It was a great match to watch, probably the best of the day! Great high-level volleyball!! Very proud of the team, coaches, and fans!! The team ended their season with a 34-4 record. The most in school history! We Are Warriors!!
