MS Track Results - Monday, Apr. 11

Congratulations to the Lincoln Lutheran girls Middle School Track & Field team for placing 2nd out of 7 schools and the Lutheran boys for placing 3rd out of 7 schools at the Wilber-Clatonia Invitational, held Monday, April 11th. The Lincoln Lutheran boys missed 2nd place by just 2 points. The highlights in the girls's division was the 1-2-3 finish in the 100 m Hurdles by Julia Pomerenke, Katie Klein, and Kacey Kohlhof. Katie also took first place honors in the High Jump with a leap of 4' 9". Other 1st place finishes for the girls included Avery Blahauvietz in the Shot Put, the 400 m Relay team of Makenzie Pedersen, Kacey Kohlhof, Hannah Alohaid, and Katie Klein,and the 3200 m Relay team of Jadyn Agee, Kate Staab, Gussie Beckman, and Paige Steinbauer. The Lady Warrior 1600 m Relay team of Jadyn Agee, Paige Steinbauer, Julia Pomerenke, and Katie Klein finished 2nd.

On the boys's side, two relays claimed first place honors. The 400 m Relay team of Scott Wineman, Spencer Schulz, Justin Parrish, and Derek Baden ran to a 1st place finish, as did the 1600 m Relay team of Derek Baden, Spencer Schulz, Justin Parrish, and Kyle Glandt. Kyle also had three second place finishes in the High Jump, 200 m Dash, and 400 m Dash, with Derek Baden right behind in 3rd in the 200, and Justin Parrish 3rd in the 400 Dash. Other second place finishes included Derek Baden in the Long Jump, and B.J. Schmeling in the 100 m Dash. Harrison Martin won two medals in the 100 m Hurdles (4th), and 300 Hurdles (3rd), as did Elijah Kouma placing 5th in the Triple Jump and 4th in the High Jump.
