The Lincoln Lutheran girls won their second meet of the year at the 5 team Raymond Central Invitational, on May 3rd. The Lady Warriors out scored Wahoo by 29 points for their second straight win at this meet. The Lincoln Lutheran boys came up 1 point short behind Wahoo for the boys' title. Both squads took advantage of the nice weather, as the girls registered 22 personal best efforts this year, and the boys had 15 personal bests. This was also the first meet the 6th grade athletes competed in, as some competed in field events, some were entered in individual running events, and there were 6th grade relay teams in each of the 400 m, 800 m, and 1600 m relays. The 6th graders gave a good effort, competing against the older athletes.

The Lady Warriors scored in every event but one, and achieved seven first place finishes. They also had 8 of the 15 events in which multiple girls scored for Lincoln Lutheran to assist in the victory. First place finishers included: Katie Klein in the High Jump with a personal best leap of 5' 0". Katie also anchored the 1600 m Relay team of Jadyn Agee, Kacey Kohlhof, and Julia Pomerenke to a season best time of 4:37.6. Besides the relay, Jadyn had two individual first place finishes in the 400 m Dash and the 800 m Run.
