MS Track Results - Saturday, May 14

The Lincoln Lutheran Middle School Track & Field team completed their season at the All-Lutheran Championships, held at Concordia University, on Saturday, May 14th. Despite the cold, blustery conditions, the young Warriors performed at a very high level and achieved many personal best performances. There were no team scores kept at this meet, but rather athletes were divided into three classes (A, B, C) based on height, weight, and age. All together, Lincoln Lutheran athletes won and amazing 81 medals and ribbons during the competition. The following athletes brought home 1st or 2nd place awards:

Girls first place finishers: Katie Klein- Class A High Jump, Class A 100 m Hurdles; Brittany Sincebaugh- Class B High Jump; Sara Rundquist- Class C High Jump; Dani Stowers- Class C Shot Put; Kacey Kohlhof- Class A 100 m Dash; Paige Steinbauer- Class A 1600 m Run; Jadyn Agee- Class A 800 m Run; Hannah Bassett- Class A 200 m Dash; Class A 400 m Relay team of Makenzie Pedersen, Katie Klein, Hannah Alohaid, Kacey Kohlhof; Class A 1600 m Relay team of Jadyn Agee, Kacey Kohlhof, Julia Pomerenke, Katie Klein (this group went undefeated this season); Class B 1600 m Relay team of Kate Staab, Fallon Wade, Amber LeGrande, Brittany Sincebaugh.
Second place finshers: Klaire Nuttelman- Class B Shot Put, Hope Bassett- Class C Shot Put, Mary Wenz- Class C Discus; Julia Pomerenke- 100 m Hurdles, 400 m Dash; Kate Staab- Class B 400 m Dash; Paige Borcherding- Class B 1600 m Run, Class B 800 m Run; Makenzie Pedersen- Class A 200 m Dash.

Boys' first place finishers: Derek Baden- Class A Long Jump, 200 m Dash; Harrison Clanton- Class B Shot Put; Erich Carpenter- Class C- Discus; Harrison Martin- Class A 100 m Hurdles; Justin Parrish- Class A 400 m Dash; Class A 400 m Relay team of Harrison Martin, B.J. Schmeling, Justin Parrish, Derek Baden; Class A 1600 m Relay team of Derek Baden, Spencer Schulz, Luke Hamann, Justin Parrish.
Second Place finishers: Elijah Kouma- Class A High Jump; Erich Carpenter- Class C Shot Put; Josh Wendland- Class A 110 m Hurdles; Luke Hamann- Class A 400 m Dash; Austin Peterson- Class A 1600 m Run; Ryan Volin- Class B 1600 m Run, 800 m Run.

Also, the 800 m Mixed Medley Relay team of Makenzie Petersen, Kacey Kohlhof, Elijah Kouma, and B.J. Schmeling placed 2nd. Coach Votta was extremely pleased with the fantastic results and efforts of the team, both at this final meet and throughout the season.
