Summer History Learning Opportunity

Current Juniors and Sophomores are invited to learn about the Ashbrook Summer History Academy.  This summer program is designed for high school juniors and seniors who share a deep interest in U.S. History and politics.  The Academy meets for seven days (June 18-24, 2017) at the Ashbrook Center on the campus of Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio and will feature a course of study on Telling America's Story.  Topics to be covered are the Founding, the Civil War, and the Civil Rights Era by focusing on the Declaration of Independence, the Gettysburg Address, and King's "I Have a Dream" Speech.  College credit is earned by attending this program.
