Centennial Conference Track Meet

Great job at the Centennial Conference Track meet! Wow! What a great day for a track meet, and it showed, as so many athletes had personal bests! We had four Conference Champion events and three new school records, another wow! This is a very competitive conference so it was nice to see so many athletes medal or do very well on the day. The boys and girls teams both took 4th place overall, and the Freshman boys team took 2nd place, just a few points out of 1st, and also had 6 first place finishes! See final results sheets on the bulletin board posted by the main gym entrance.

Centennial Conference champions were: Hope Leimbach in long jump 17’2”, Josie Puelz in the pole vault 12’4 “ and also in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.73, and Becca Ziems in the 800m with 2:27.55. 3 new school records broken: in the pole vault for Josie, the 300m hurdles for Colton Meyer with 39.13, and the boys 1600 m relay with Noah L’Heureux, Logan Kreizel, Colton Meyer and Jacob Meyer with a time of 3:30.48. Many personal bests on a glorious day for a track meet!! In the Boys Freshman division the following took 1st place: Derek Brockhaus long jump, Will Saunders 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Wyatt Marr shot put, Josh Puelz discus, the 400m relay of Steven Bennett, Chris Woerth, Derek Brockhaus, and Will Saunders.
