Friday and Saturday (2/9-10) Malcolm played host to the 2108 C-1 District Wrestling tournament. The LL Warriors had a strong showing. Congratulations to three of our Warrior Wrestlers who finished their season with winning records, a first in LL Wrestling history! Junior Tommy Nabity finished with a record of 17-15 and finished Districts will a record of 2-2. Senior Joe Admiraal finished the year with a 21-20 record and finished Districts with a record of 2-2. Senior Jake Wendland finished the season with a record of 12-12 and came very close to a berth into the State Tournament, falling 4-6 in overtime in his final match. Our final Senior, Ethan Rickords also had a great season which included competing in the Championship match at Conference, but had to cut his District competition short with a back injury. Congratulations Warriors!
