What do I need to know about School Choice?

School Choice is starting to gain some traction in the State of Nebraska. Here is information regarding the current Legislative Bill (LB295) related to School Choice. Why LB 295? LB 295 is a response to the call to ensure that parents are truly free to choose the education most appropriate for their child.  At least 31 states have some form of private education choice law, and 18 states have similar “tax-credit scholarship” laws. 7th Grade Field Trip to Nebraska City

The 7th grade class had an exciting trip to Nebraska City on Friday, September 15.  Our 69 7th graders and their chaperones spent the morning exploring the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and the trails surrounding the area.

Congratulations to Tom Otte, James Lavicky and Becca Ziems for being chosen to represent Lincoln Lutheran at the 2017 Cornhusker Boys and Girls State taking place here in Lincoln this summer. The students will get the opportunity to spend a week learning more about our government at the state and national levels, as well as experience different types of civil leadership.
