Spring Sports Start

Spring sports will start for HS on Monday, 2/25. The HS Information Night will also be on the 25th. MS Track (7th & 8th) will start on 3/7. The MS (6th-8th) track information night will be on Monday 3/4. Please remember that if your child DID NOT participate in a fall or winter sport, we may not have a physical or NSAA form on file.  Please email the front desk if you have any questions concerning this.  NO athlete will be able to participate WITHOUT these forms.

Academic All-State Award Winners

Congrats to the following students/athletes for being recognized for your academic and activity excellence. The Fall sport NSAA/NCPA Academic All-State Award Winners are: Cross Country-Kayla Steinbauer, Rachel Ziems, Jacob Meyer and Tanner Lebo; Volleyball-Ella Moll and Josie Puelz; Football-Cayden Bergt and Zachary Streich

Lincoln Lutheran Fans Receive Sportsmanship Award

A big congratulations go out to the LL Student Body as well as the LL Fans who came out to the State Tournament to cheer on the LL Warrior Volleyball team! At the close of the tournament, Lincoln Lutheran won the State Volleyball Sportsmanship Award for showing class and school spirit throughout the tournament! The award is decided upon by a select group of ADs who attend all the State games and watch both the student body as well as the fans and players giving or deducting points based on a variety of criteria including creativity and positive support for their team.

LL Softball Results 9/1

Congratulations to the Crete/LL Softball team on their 2 wins and one loss at the Wahoo Tournament this Saturday, 9/1. The girls started with a 1-3 loss to Wahoo, but made quick changes and finished with a strong 12-3 win over Ashland Greenwood. They finished off the day with a hard fought 5-4 win over a strong Waverly team. Congratulations ladies!

Softball Team

The Lincoln Lutheran-Crete softball team faced tough competition this last weekend at the LPS Tournament at Doris Bair Softball Complex in Lincoln. The Cardinals finished the weekend 1-2 losing to Class A Southwest and Grand Island and shutting Elkorn South out 6-0 for the win.

The team will face Fairbury at home on Tuesday and then travel to Wahoo for a tournament on Saturday.

NSAA Cup

Congratulations to the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors for finishing 4th in the NSAA Cup Class C All-School Standings.  Contributing to this outstanding achievement were District Music performances, the Football team qualifying for the State Playoffs and advancing to the State Semifinals, the Volleyball team qualifying for the State Tournament and earning 3rd place, the Softball team winning the State Championship, the Baseball team qualifying for the State Tournament and winning one game, and the Girls Track & Field team with a Runner-up finish at the State Track Meet. The girls al
