Lutheran Basketball National Tournament

Everyone is invited to a "send-off" on Wednesday, March 27th at 3:30 pm in the main gym. Join us for prayer as we send our Middle School Boys and Girls "A" Teams to compete in the National Tournament located in Valparaiso, IN, March 29-31. Please keep these student-athletes and families in your prayers for safe travels. #WeAreWarriors

MS Boys"B" BB - Champions at Centennial Tourney

Middle School Boys ‘B’ Basketball make it back to back tournament championships by winning the Centennial tournament on Saturday. They defeated Wilbur- Clatonia 49-39 and then went on to defeat Sandy Creek 50-42 for the Championship. 

Team members are Jason Steider, Jang Dak, Tyler Schlueter, Alex Ohnoutka, Ollie Kollipara, Grady Schoettlin, Logan Lebo, Ryan Bokelmann, Avery Wieting, Sam Sunderman and Student Manager Quinn Trutna.  Leading scorers for the two games were Logan Lebo with 56 points and Alex Ohnoutka with 21 points. 

 

MS Boys BB - Champions @ LL Tourney

MS Boys Basketball ‘B’ team came home with the championship trophy winning Lincoln Lutheran’s tournament this past weekend. The Warriors defeated Silverhawks Supreme Friday night 53-34 and turned around Saturday morning to defeat Parkview Christian 50-20.  Leading scorers in the two games were Logan Lebo with 42 points and Alex Ohnoutka with 18 points.  Congratulations to the MS Boys ‘B’ team

Congrats MS Boys Basketball ‘A’ Team – Roundball Champions !!

Congratulations to the MS boys ‘A’ team for winning the All-Lutheran Roundball basketball tournament this past weekend in Omaha. The Warriors downed Christ Norfolk 58-16 and host Concordia Omaha 60-16 to reach the finals.  In the championship game, the Warriors downed St John Battle Creek 57-20.  For the weekend, Will Jurgens and Jonny Puelz led the team in scoring with 29 and 27 points, respectively.  Also for the Warriors, Logan DeBoer finished 2nd in the 3-point shootout.  Congratulations Warriors on a successful weekend!

MS BBB Win over Raymond Central

The Reserve boys basketball team defeated Raymond Central last night 57-43 at Raymond Central. The Warriors led 54-18 after 3 quarters and cruised to the win. The Warriors had a balanced scoring attack and were led by Max Bartels' 20 points. The Reserve team moves to 2-1 on the season. 

8th Grade BBB Team 2nd at Tourney

The 8th Grade Boys Champions - Gold Basketball team brought home 2nd place this past weekend in the Holiday Hoops Festival.  After taking an initial loss in the opening game of the tournament, they came back to down Silver Hawks Supreme 37-28 on Saturday.  Leading the team in scoring was Cole Reilly with 10 points, while Evan Wulf and Matthew Wing each added 6 points. The Warriors came back on Sunday to beat East Supreme in an exciting 29-27 game.  Pacing the way for the Warriors was Wulf with 10 points, while Reilly added 9 and Aidan Lofgren poured in 5.

Congrats 8th Grade Boys Basketball!

A big congratulations goes out to the LL 8th grade Boys Basketball team on a 2-2 finish at the National Lutheran Basketball Invitational. The warriors played very well against the top Lutheran Basketball teams in the nation and should be very proud of their accomplishments. Thanks for a great season!

8th grade boys BB Team

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys BB team on qualifying for the National Lutheran Basketball Tournament that will be held at Valparaiso University on March 22-25.  Great job guys!  We won't find out their opening opponent and bracket until March 12 at 5 PM.  

MS BB CIT results

Congratulations to our MS BB teams as they all played very well and brought home trophies.  It was great to see how well each team supported each other all weekend.  Everyone played very well and represented themselves, their team, and our community extremely well.  We are proud of all of you.
