MS State XC Results

On Saturday, October 6, the first ever Nebraska Middle School State Cross Country Meet was held at Papillion-Lavista South High School.  Overall, around 400 runners from more than 30 schools participated.  Two 8th grade Lincoln Lutheran runners competed as individuals in the 3000 meter races. It was a cold and windy morning, around 40 degrees at start time, and the course had some challenging hills and terrain.

Congratulations Ryan Volin!

Congratulations to eighth grader Ryan Volin for winning the Nebraska State Junior High Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Oct. 6.  He finished in a time of 10:55 on the 3K course in Omaha.

MS XC Results - Malcolm Invite

On Tuesday, Sept. 18 the Middle School Cross Country team ran at Branched Oak in the Malcolm Invitational fun run.  We had some great weather and some great times for the kids.  The race was 2000 meters, which was a little longer than the last meet but everyone ran really well.  Ryan Volin came in first with a time of 7:03, Zach Beckman 8:06, Chase Debusk 8:08, Evan Rich 8:21 and Hank Zieg 10:26 for the guys.  In the girls race, Rebecca Ziems came in 3rd in 8:24 and Cassie Shambaugh-Miller 10:04.  Great job Warriors!

MS XC Results

On Thursday, Sept. 13, the Lincoln Lutheran Middle School cross country team competed in the fun run at Fillmore Central. We couldn't have asked for better weather to run in and the times reflected that.  The course was roughly one mile long and everyone had their best race of the season so far.
