HS Soccer results

The HS boys and girls both won against Seward on Tuesday, March 28th.  Boys won 3-1 with Henry Schmidt scoring 2 goals.  Girls won 3-0 with Gabby Mason, Rachel Garbe and Hannah Ernst getting the goals.  Kassidy Johnson earned the shutout in the net.

HS Girls Soccer Team Participates in Community Outreach

On March 11, the Lincoln Lutheran Girls Soccer team went to the "Saturday Sing-A-Long" at Gateway Vista Senior Living Community located at 225 N 56th St, right down the street from the school. The girls sang songs along with the residents. Miss Bockelman, one of the team's assistant coaches who took the group of girls said, "It was so fun to see the smiles on the faces of both the residents and our students as they sang together." The weekend even coordinator said they rarely get groups to come and join them and appreciated the girls taking the time.

Rachel Garbe earns the Lutheran All-American Association's 1st Team All-American Award

Twenty-two girls’ high school soccer players from among the nearly 200 Lutheran high schools in the USA and Canada recieved the Lutheran All-American Association's (LAAA) 2016 1 st Team All-American Award. This honor is awarded annually to recognize the best players at their respective positions from their high school season. Lincoln Lutheran Senior Rachel Garbe earned this honor for the 2016 season. Congratulations to Rachel for earning this hard won honor!

Soccer Results from 4/18 & 4/19:  Girls beat Auburn on 4/18 and Boys beat Nebraska City on 4/19

Girls Soccer Results 3/29

The girls soccer team won on Tuesday, 3/29 3-0 against Seward.  Great Job girls!

Boys Soccer Results 3/29

The boys soccer team won big on Tuesday, 10-1 over Seward.  Leading the scoring was Uriah Soenksen who netted a school record 6 goals in the game.  With the win the Warriors improve to 3-1 on the season.  The JV team also defeated Seward and similarly improved to 3-1 on the season.  The next home games are this Saturday at 10 am at Spirit Park.

Boys Soccer Begins Season 2-0

The varsity and jv boys soccer teams started the season with two strong wins each to begin 2-0.  On Thursday, the JV and Varsity boys each beat Concordia, Omaha 3-0 and on Saturday, the varsity beat GICC 3-0 while the JV defeated GICC 3-1.  The next home game is versus Crete on Tuesday, at 4:30 pm, at Spirit Park.

Soccer Matches 3/17

The boys and girls played Omaha Concordia in soccer on Thursday, March 17th.  Our girls lost 1-3 in overtime.  Our varsity and JV boys both won 3-0.
