HS State Track Results

Congratulations to the Warrior track teams on great representation at the Nebraska State Track Meet this past weekend in Omaha! Despite cool and rainy conditions they had some outstanding performances! The Girls team finished 7th out of 88 teams in Class C. Our first competitors on Friday were Logan Kreizel in the high jump and Hope Leimbach, who placed 5th in the long jump. They were followed up by Josie Puelz who made finals in both hurdle events. On Saturday, the 4x100 m relay (Hope Leimbach, Mackenzie Koepke, Kelly Kohlhof, and Josie Puelz) took the 8th place medals.

Congrats to MS State Track Participants!

Congrats to Will Saunders who won both the 100m and 200m hurdles running at the MS State Track Meet in Gothenburg on Saturday. Will's time in the 100 m hurdles was the 5th best of all time! Morgan Able also had a good day qualifying for the finals and finishing 6th in the 100 m hurdles. Congratulations goes out to all the State Track qualifiers, Derek Brockhaus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 4x100m relay and 200m dash; Steven Bennett 4x100m relay; Josh Puelz 4x100m relay and Adrianna Rodencal 200m hurdles. Great Job and a great season!

District Track Results

The girls team brought home the District Runner-up plaque, as both HS Track teams competed well at Districts on Thursday, May 11 at Yutan.  We had a good day, having several 1st and numerous 2nd place individuals and relays going on to State! There were numerous personal bests attained and a large number of District medalists. So overall we have 8 athletes in 7 events that will take part in the State Meet on Friday, May 19, and Saturday May 20 at Omaha Burke's stadium. Here are your 2017 NE State Track Meet Qualifiers:

Conference Track Results

Congrats to both track teams as they had good showings at the Centennial Conference Meet on Saturday. The girls scored 70 points and the boys 36. We had 4 Conference titles: Josie was a dual winner, Champion in the 100m hurdles and the pole vault, Mackenzie Koepke in the high jump (3rd year in a row), and Logan Kreizel tied for 1st in the high jump. There were many second place finishers and numerous medalists! Quite the feat for our very talented Conference! Way to go Warriors! God's speed at the Districts on Thursday!!

Track Result from Conestoga

Both the girls and boys teams had good showings at the Cougar Invitational @ Conestoga on Tuesday, April 25. The girls team was 3rd (just 7 points separating them from 1st), and the boys team came in a solid 4th out of 10 teams competing in the very cold and blustery conditions!

Track Results from Tri-County

The HS Track team had a great meet at the Tri-County Invitational on Tuesday, Both teams had multiple medalists and there were many personal bests attained at the meet. 

MS Track Results from Wilber

The MS Track athletes did a great job at Wilber.  The girls came home with 3 athletes getting 1st place, 4 getting 2nd, 4 getting 3rd, 4 getting 4th, 4 getting 5th and 4 getting 6th.  Our first place winners were Addi Ernstmeyer in 100M Dash, Morgan Able in 100m Hurdles and Noel Steinbauer in High jump.

Great job Warriors on your efforts at the Yutan Invitational meet on Tuesday, April 11. The weather was great, so many personal bests were accomplished! The girls brought home the Runner-up trophy, scoring 80 points.The boys team took 5th place with 53 points. Once again Josie Puelz broke the meet record and set another school record in the pole vault with a vault of 11' 4"!  She also took 1st place in the 100m and 300m hurdles. Both the girls and boys 1600 m relay teams took 1st place finishes, a great way to end the meet!

HS Track Meet Results - Norris Invite

Both the girls and boys team had good showings at the Norris Invitational on Friday.

There were numerous placing/medalists along with many personal bests. Josie Puelz was a double winner, taking 1st place in both sets of the hurdles. Mack Koepke won the high jump again as well.

The girls 1600 m relay took 2nd place, and the girls 3200 m relay took 3rd place. On the boys side, Colten Meyer took 2nd place in the high hurdles, Jacob Meyer placed 3rd in the 800m run, Zach Claussen took 3rd place in the high jump, and the boys 1600 m relay took 3rd place.
