8th Grade Students Practice Leadership.

On the first day of class, the 8th grade science students reviewed what it means to be a leader in the Lincoln Lutheran Middle School.  They looked at the example Jesus gave us in John chapter 13. Jesus, stoops down to the level of a servant to wash the feet of his disciples.  Leaders put others first and look out for others.  These 8th grade leaders are about serving others and not themselves.  They also discussed how we bless others by allowing someone else to serve you.  Mr. Rickords said "This is a great group of 8th grade students.

Grandparent's/Grandfriends Day Celebration will be Thursday, September 7th starting at 8:30am.

We love to celebrate Grandparent's/Grandfriends week!  We would like to invite your Grandparent's/Grandfriends to join your student(s) for a morning of food and fellowship at Lincoln Lutheran. Our annual Grandparent's/Grandfriends Day celebration will be on Thursday September 7, 2017 starting at 8:30 am.  We ask all the Grandparent's/Grandfriends to meet in our north gym at 8:30 am for coffee, rolls, juice and a short program before meeting your grandchild at 9:30 am for our Chapel service.

LL receives Gold from LAAA

The 2016-2017 Lincoln Lutheran Girls Soccer team received a Gold from the Lutheran All American Association (LAAA) regarding Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Awards. Two Lincoln Lutheran athletes received individual LAAA All American Awards: Rachel Garbe - 1st Team & Gabby Mason, 2nd Team. Congrats to the students and athletes on their accomplishments. HS Boys Win the Class C State Golf Championship

State Golf Championship: I still don’t think it’s really sunk in that we won the Class C State Golf Championship and that our season is now over.  Part of me doesn’t want it to be over because it’s been such a memorable year.  We get to add 3 new banners to the gym, Conference, Districts and State Championships.  What an amazing year!

HS State Track Results

Congratulations to the Warrior track teams on great representation at the Nebraska State Track Meet this past weekend in Omaha! Despite cool and rainy conditions they had some outstanding performances! The Girls team finished 7th out of 88 teams in Class C. Our first competitors on Friday were Logan Kreizel in the high jump and Hope Leimbach, who placed 5th in the long jump. They were followed up by Josie Puelz who made finals in both hurdle events. On Saturday, the 4x100 m relay (Hope Leimbach, Mackenzie Koepke, Kelly Kohlhof, and Josie Puelz) took the 8th place medals.

Congrats to MS State Track Participants!

Congrats to Will Saunders who won both the 100m and 200m hurdles running at the MS State Track Meet in Gothenburg on Saturday. Will's time in the 100 m hurdles was the 5th best of all time! Morgan Able also had a good day qualifying for the finals and finishing 6th in the 100 m hurdles. Congratulations goes out to all the State Track qualifiers, Derek Brockhaus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, 4x100m relay and 200m dash; Steven Bennett 4x100m relay; Josh Puelz 4x100m relay and Adrianna Rodencal 200m hurdles. Great Job and a great season!

Rachel Garbe received the KFOR Award

Rachel Garbe received the KFOR Sportcaster Club All-City Award & Scholarship.  Only 9 total student athletes from Lincoln receive this award in scholarship. She was recognized at the banquet on Wednesday, April 26th. There are 5 criterias for this award: Senior Athlete, High GPA and class standing, High sports achievements, Many extracurricular activities and has college plans. Congrats to Rachel for this accomplishment.

Grant Johnson signs with Nebraska Wesleyan

Congratulations to Grant Johnson! He signed to play golf for Nebraska Wesleyan on April 16. The signing ceremony took place in the Copper Canyon Golf Club in Buckeye Arizona.  Grant was with his parents, Carl and Abbie Johnson, and former Lincoln Lutheran exchange student Simon Braathen. We want to wish Grant God's richest blessings on his college career at Nebraska Wesleyan.

Congratuations for the 2017 Prom Court

Congratulations to the six seniors elected to the 2017 Prom Court.  Final voting took place in AP on Friday. The King and Queen were announced on Saturday, April 22nd at the Delray Ballroom in downtown Lincoln. Congratulations to Triet Ngo and Cassie Shambaugh-Miller on being named the 2017 Prom King and Queen!  The 2017 court members are Amber LeGrande, Hope Bassett, Cassie Shambaugh-Miller, Joel Stennett, Triet Ngo, and Luke Bartels.
