ACADEMICS
Lincoln Lutheran's Middle School program provides a well-rounded education that fosters academic excellence, spiritual growth, and personal development in a Christ-centered environment. Designed to guide students through these formative years, faith is integrated into every aspect of learning, helping students grow intellectually while deepening their relationship with Christ. Middle school is a unique and exciting time of change as students move from childhood to young adulthood. These are special, exciting years as students experience sudden bursts of growth, not only in their bodies, but also in their spiritual, academic and social lives.
The middle school program prepares students for high school and beyond by developing critical thinking skills, strong moral character, and a love for learning. In addition to rigorous academics, spiritual formation is emphasized through weekly chapel services, religion class, and social-emotional learning. Students are encouraged to explore their interests through enriching electives and extracurricular activities. Middle school students also participate in service projects where they learn the importance of compassion, humility, and leadership.
Each student at Lincoln Lutheran is a unique child of God. No two students learn in exactly the same way, so teachers work with each student to help them find success. In the classroom, teachers utilize creative approaches so that students not only learn conceptually, but they also learn how to learn effectively. Through small class sizes, engaging teachers, and genuine concern for each student, an emphasis is put on social/emotional growth through personal relationships, academic excellence through critical thinking, and commitment to community through leadership and extra-curricular opportunities.
Parent involvement and a strong partnership between home and school is critical to student success. Lincoln Lutheran's faculty and administration are committed to partner with our middle school students and their families as they travel through these critical, and often challenging years.
