Bob Schmieding attended junior high at Lincoln Lutheran from 1964-1966. He graduated high school from Northeast and attended college at UNL. He has owned and operated his own concrete company, Schmieding Concrete, for 40 years.
Bob and his wife Sally have been married for 50 years. They have four daughters, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Bob serves the community and his church as a worship leader at Holy Savior Lutheran Church and Southlake Village Care Center. He also sponsors several children overseas.
Bob’s fondest memories of his time at Lincoln Lutheran include being in a play called Kitty Wake Island and playing drums in the band. He feels that Lincoln Lutheran helped him become the person God wanted him to be and to stand by his faith.
His advice to current Warriors is to resist peer pressure and to be a strong example of what God wants you to be.
We are pleased to honor Mr. Robert Schmieding as our 2023 Distinguished Alumni. Congratulations, Bob!
