For decades, high school baseball in Nebraska was exclusive to Class A and B, causing smaller schools to co-op together in order to compete. For years, Lincoln Lutheran has partnered with Wahoo and Bishop Neumann for a competitive Class B baseball program. However, with the NSAA’s recent addition of Class C Baseball, the door was opened for Lincoln Lutheran to start their own independent program.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to lead these young men in the inaugural season and to further the ministry of Lincoln Lutheran through the game of baseball”, says head coach Logan Ryan. “Between the renovations to Faith Field, as well as the new equipment we’ve purchased, our players have everything they need to be a competitive force in this arena and to create a legacy for future baseball Warriors.”
Lincoln Lutheran’s inaugural baseball season is off to a great start with a W for their home opener.
