Atley Janecek was recently named one of the Sunrise Optimist Club's Student of the Week. The program recognizes public and parochial students in grades 6-8 for excellence in academics, athletics and community volunteerism. Congrats, Atley! You can see more at the Sunrise Optimist website.
Why was the student nominated? She is an extremely hard worker, a great classmate, and a genuinely good kid. She never shies away from a challenge and is always willing to work with any of her classmates. She uses her time productively and always sets a good example for others.
