The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and the Nebraska State College System (NSCS) are proud to announce the recipients of the prestigious 2024-2025 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award. A total of 15,246 students from across the state have earned this recognition for their outstanding involvement in extracurricular activities.
This award acknowledges high school students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA-sanctioned activities during the academic year. Students who meet this criterion will be recognized for their commitment and effort, each receiving a certificate of achievement from both the NSAA and the Nebraska State Colleges. The purpose of the award is to celebrate students who go above and beyond in balancing multiple activities, demonstrating dedication, leadership, and teamwork.
Participation in the award program is tracked through student eligibility lists submitted by each member school to the NSAA. The schools' involvement in this recognition initiative will be highlighted, and top schools across four classes will be honored based on the percentage of students receiving the Multi-Activity Student Award compared to the total student body in grades 9-12.
Additionally, the NSAA and NSCS are excited to spotlight the four high schools with the most multi-activity students. These schools will be awarded a banner to display proudly at their institutions. The banners will be presented during the NSAA State Soccer Championships in May, further celebrating the achievements of these schools and their students.
The Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award program underscores the importance of well-rounded education and the value of extracurricular engagement in shaping student growth, skills, and character. Congratulations to all the recipients and participating schools for their continued commitment to excellence in academic and extracurricular activities!
